In India, the usage of submersible pumps started some time
in 1965. As the water level went down, the use of
submersible pumps increased. In our country, various types
of submersible pumps are used for water handling and drawing
from deep down the earth. Our country is passing through
shortage of electricity. It is very difficult to produce
electricity but we can certainly save electricity. According
to one survey, 45% of total usage of electricity in our
country is being used by the pump sets used in various
sectors such as agricultural, domestic, water supply boards,
municipal corporations, commercial, and heavy chemical
plants.
Falcon assessed the critical situation of electricity of our
country and manufactured new designed submersible pumps. The
consumers accepted the new design of high head, efficient,
short in length and longer life submersible pumps of Falcon.
In short period, the Falcon becomes the leader as an
outstanding manufacturer of submersible pumps and created
its own image in the country. The Research and Development
is perpetual and other pumps such as Horizontal Openwel,
Mono block high efficient pumps will be launched in the
market in near future.
